Our outrigger canoe tours are
open to anyone who is competent paddling small watercraft, a capable
swimmer, over 14 years of age, and who wants to see the beautiful
Vava'u up close!
Our canoes hold a minimum of three people, including one guide or experienced paddler to steer. Tours require a minimum of two guests,
so bring along a friend for a fantastic holiday together seeing amazing
sights and getting enjoyable exercise at the same time. To ensure everyone can experience
outrigger canoeing and camping in beautiful Vava'u, we offer a diverse
range of outrigger tours to suit everyone's tastes.

The best way to explore the magic of Vava’u
Enjoy a day paddling across crystal clear
waters in our stable outrigger canoes. Visit uninhabitated islands,
snorkel at the Japanese Gardens, enter the amazing Swallows Cave, then head off to a stunning beach for an island picnic to refuel. Plenty of chances for swimming, snorkelling and
witnessing the amazing sea life so abundant in our island waterways. A
moderate level of fitness and swimming ability is required.
Tour price: AUD$120 per person. The tour price includes either a resort lunch meal or an island picnic.
The following are all camping tours, but if you would prefer to stay at a Tongan island resort, please tell us when you enquire and we will provide a cost for the resort accommodation.

An unique overnight camping experience.
After
a relaxing paddle to a stunning island we set up camp and go exploring
or snorkelling. Tonight we enjoy a camping gastronomic delight under
the stars, sharing stories around the campfire. After breakfast we set
off on a different route, gliding effortlessly over shallow reefs and
snorkelling when the urge takes us. We stop off at an island resort for
a yummy lunch to relax our bodies and sate our appetites.
Tour price: AUD$380 per person. Group special:
When a group of 4 or more book on the same tour, the group will receive

A perfect way to celebrate your honeymoon or anniversary.
Enjoy
total privacy on a South Pacific island for two days and one night. Our
guide will paddle with you to a secluded island, set up your camp and
leave you and your partner alone to enjoy the solitude. Your hamper
will include local seafood, wine or champagne for dinner and yummy treats
for breakfast. Our guide will return the next day to pack up your
campsite and guide you back to civilisation.
Tour price: AUD$860 per couple. Includes a hamper of special treats and champagne/wine.
If
you have a group of friends or family you would like to share a private
canoeing tour with, tell us what you would like and we will tailor a
tour to suit your exact needs! This is a perfect opportunity to have a
unique holiday with friends. Minimum four people are required for a
private group tour.

Get
away for four days and three nights - a fantastic way to really get to
know the majestic Vava'u archipelago, Tonga. Some days we will be
paddling for up to four hours at a time, but this will be balanced with
time for relaxing, snorkelling and exploring. These tours are focused
on the adventure traveller with a higher level of fitness.

This is classed as a group tour, which means you have to book a minimum of 4 fanatics and maximum of 8 for each tour.
We will work the dates for your group into our schedule.

Tour
prices: as we operate from a remote location, petrol and freight costs
have an extra impact on us. As these prices can increase substantially
with very little notice, we are forced to review our tour prices
regularly. However, once you have booked your tour by paying a deposit,
the price you have been quoted will remain the same. Please also note that Tonga charges 15% Consumption Tax on all goods and services, which we must add to the above tour prices. This tax goes towards making much needed improvements to the standard of living for Tongans.
